Halovate Ointment

Halovate Ointment contains Halobetasol propionate 0.05%, a super-potent topical corticosteroid used to relieve inflammation, redness, and itching associated with corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses such as eczema, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and contact dermatitis. It works by inhibiting the release of inflammatory substances in the skin. Due to its high potency, treatment duration should not exceed two consecutive weeks, and the total dosage should not surpass 50 grams per week to minimize the risk of systemic absorption and side effects. Common side effects include burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. Halovate Ointment is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age and should be used with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding women. ​
