Luliz Cream

Luliz Cream is a topical antifungal medication designed to effectively manage and treat superficial fungal infections of the skin. The active ingredient, luliconazole (1% w/w), belongs to the azole class of antifungals and works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption leads to increased membrane permeability and ultimately results in fungal cell death, thereby treating the infection. ​

Indicated for conditions such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm, Luliz Cream provides relief from symptoms like itching, redness, and scaling associated with these infections. To use, clean and thoroughly dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the cream, extending slightly beyond the affected region. Gently rub in the cream, typically once daily, as directed by a healthcare professional. The duration of treatment varies depending on the specific infection and its severity but generally ranges from one to two weeks. ​

Common side effects may include mild skin irritation, itching, or redness at the application site. These are usually temporary and subside as the body adjusts to the medication. However, if side effects persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult a healthcare provider. Luliz Cream is intended for external use only and should not be applied to the eyes, mouth, or vagina.
